To place an item into your shopping cart, simply click "Add to cart" for your desired item. You may change quantities by selecting the desired number from the quantity drop down menu. To place an order, add all desired items to your shopping cart and press the "Proceed to Checkout" button while viewing your cart. You can preview the contents of your cart at any time by clicking the "View Cart" link at the top of the page. To remove an item, either set its quantity to zero or click the "remove" link.
Yes, we take our customers' privacy and security very seriously at Beyond the Shaker. We keep all your information private and secure. All orders are placed through our secure server, and we will never release any of your information to a third party.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as long as it has a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express symbol on it.
There is no tax on salt. There is, however, a 6% sales tax on our Saltware for residents of Michigan.
All orders received are shipped the next business day. Orders placed after this or over the weekend will go out the next business day.

Unfortunately at this time we only ship to the U.S. and Canada. If you are interested in purchasing our salts and having them delivered to an international destination, please email us and we can see what we can do.
To send to a different address, simply enter the alternate address into the "Shipping Address" fields during checkout.
Unfortunately, shipping is charged per package, so all orders going to a separate address must be placed separately and shipping must be charged for each one.
We rely on our shipping partner, Fedex, to delivery our packages and the rural classification for your ZIP code is within their discretion.
As you may imagine, it costs more to deliver packages in rural areas. Consequently, Fedex charges us extra for rural deliveries. We do not make any money on this surcharge! We still hope that you agree that our shipping rates are very reasonable.
We gladly ship orders to Alaska and Hawaii. The only caveat is that the shipping fee is higher. Depending on your location, we may need to ship your items via USPS which costs a bit more and does not allow us to provide you with a tracking number. Orders can take up to 4 weeks to be delivered.
