We have been a big fan of this store for years as it has an incredible gourmet food selection, and delicious prepared foods – and now Beyond the Shaker is gracing this market’s shelves.

Our premium gourmet salts can be purchased at the West Bloomfield location at 2100 Walnut Lake Road. During the holiday season, our pure unrefined sea salts make a wonderful host/hostess gift even without the need for wrapping paper – the beautiful hand crafted Italian jars make a stunning impression before you even get to the gastronomic experience inside!

We are very proud to be part of the exciting launch of City Provisions Deli in Chicago, Illinois. Cleetus Friedman is mastermind behind City Provisions, and we think his concept will be well received when it opens later in August 2010.

As you can see from picture gallery in the link, Beyond the Shaker salts will be part of the amazing retail selection Friedman has assembled. I especially enjoy the idea of a pre-made picnic basket near the train line that heads to Ravinia. Huge news! Beyond the Shaker unrefined salts and premium gourmet blends can now be purchased in Canada through the fine food store, OGourmet. This is our first foray outside the United States and we are excited to share our wonderful salt products with our continental neighbors to the north (we even added new french language labels to our distinctive jars). Anyway, this is one of many new retail locations where you can now purchase our Beyond the Shaker salts. We plan to announce several other locations as we continue to prepare for the holiday season, so stay-tuned to this blog for more information.
